My introduction to Skinwalker Ranch was from the TV show only a few years ago. My girlfriend and I were looking for something scary to watch then stumbled upon this series about a unique piece of property in the Utah desert where weird things are studied. If you have never watched the show, Skinwalker Ranch is a 500 acre property originally a part of the Navajo and Ute territories. It was later overseen by the US Government and is widely considered to be a nexus for paranormal research. The History Channel has put out several seasons where scientists and local professionals search, study and try to understand the odd phenomena that continue to happen there. This turned out to be very inspirational for writing lyrics. The challenge I had was trying to figure out what genre would best describe and personify the weirdness of the ranch. After trying several genres I landed on musical theater. More specifically it is an overly enthusiastic teacher trying to explain the ranch to his st...

When multiple whistleblowers and lawmakers stood on the Capitol steps demanding the declassification of UAP related files, it made me realize that we are coming to a pivot point in history. This very public call for disclosure had all the carrots to motivate politicians but it still lacked the sticks needed to force anything to happen. The only stick they have is public demand. This is where creatives can help. Movies, books and yes songs get people thinking about what is being kept from them. Public demand is often created through public awareness. When the press conference happened I was near the end of writing my first full-length album Persistent Existence but one thing was missing - a requiem. I knew what I had to do. I needed one song that summarized many of the events that happened since the start of the modern UFO era. I was inspired by two songs - We didn't Start the Fire by Billy Joel and It's the End of the World as We Know It by REM. Both are fast paced, chock ...

All this time we thought Sci-fi was just for fun but now we have learned that it might be real. It only makes sense to have a whole new soundtrack for this change of reality. Songwriter Alex Hutchinson's first full length album Persistent Existence attempts to turn the streaming world upside down. Alex uses AI technology to create a wide variety of vocals and music to elevate his stunningly sophisticated lyrics. The genres range from dance to rock, country to musical theater and everything in between. The subjects vary from serious to silly as he takes on missing scientists, remote viewing, skinwalker ranch, shadow creatures, deep state conspiracies, alien threesomes and so much more. Not only does he tell stories of the strange and unusual, he also attempts to unite humanity under the new understanding that these are no longer subjects that can be swept under the rug. The presence of non-human intelligence among us is the biggest revelation in the history of ...

I never expected us to get to the point where we are openly talking about the realities of UFOs and aliens. Like many Americans I had long ago lost faith in any idea of truth or honesty when it comes to dealing with our Federal government. I also lost faith in the deeply distracted public who, throughout my life, had obsessed over meaningless nonsense while avoiding difficult problems. Now that this has come to the forefront we are forced to battle not only with the facts being presented but also the stigma dispersed over many decades of foolish ignorance. President Trump has ordered the government to tell the public what they know about these subjects. They are sitting on 80 years of information, much of which has been classified and kept from us. If you don't understand what is going on you need to watch the documentary Age of Disclosure . It covers a number of UFO related topics but primarily it breaks down the congressional hearings on the subject. Why am I writing about this...

Growing up there were some hopeless times. I had an alcoholic father, often no working vehicle or job prospects and there was little room for me at home. I lived in a tent, a van, in a shed and on the floor of my parents laundry room. A big part of the problem was simply a lack of support. I needed to break away and try to make it on my own. That journey was fraught with failure and took several attempts. "It was Survival" expressed my deep need to escape these bad situations. It tells of the desperation I felt and how far I was willing to go while also keeping my sanity in tact. Ultimately I landed far away. I made new friends, found new jobs and survived. This song is a lifeline of hope to all of those who haven't made it out yet. It can be done, I'm living proof. Sometimes you have to get a little creative and take big chances but in the end it's worth it. It was Survival is available on most major music platforms Spotify Apple Music YouTube ...

While my first love was martial arts, my second love was bodybuilding. I started working out at 13 years old and though I wanted to achieve that superhero size and strength, I knew it was going to be a long journey. I was a skinny kid, only 116 pounds in high school. Plus, I had an eating disorder that made it very difficult to put on weight. Still, I persisted. 1994 - 143 pounds - 150pd bench I worked out at home and later signed up to a gym. I took every supplement imaginable but still it took forever to put on muscle. You could call it a lifetime goal. I didn't pass 200 pounds in body weight until I was in my forties. That's when I had a serious home gym of my own. I followed IFBB Pro Ben Pakulski's MI40 interactive training program and finally I was the monster I always wanted to be. 2020 - 224 pounds - 250pd bench It was in 2020 that I got to achieve a related goal in attending the Mr. Olympia competition. Normally the big contest took place in Las Vegas but due to th...

We all have moments of torment so traumatic that it leaves a mark. My divorce was shocking and unexpected, those break ups are the worst. Overcoming feelings of betrayal and broken promises can crush a person's belief in others. That makes it difficult to trust and move on. Finding myself in a new relationship while also dealing with the pain of the last one has been no easy task. Walk With Me is a request to my new partner, an understanding that I still have things to work through while asking that she joins me on this new journey. This song is about letting go of heavy, old baggage in order to embrace a new, young love. The vocals express pain and hope simultaneously. There is nothing more therapeutic than taking someone's hand and walking towards a better tomorrow. Listen to Walk With Me Spotify Apple Music

Long before I discovered girls, I had a boyfriend. From the ages 13 to 19, I had a secret relationship with my best friend. Back in the 1980's you had to keep that type of thing a secret. Ever since then I have had a series of relationships with women but I still have an eye for a certain type of guy. Bisexual from the start and to this very day. I became a writer back in the early 1990's and one of the first things I wrote was a Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual guidebook for surviving in a somewhat hostile society. Fast forward to 2004, I wrote and published Virgin Gloves . This is the first ever novel in history about a Gay prizefighter. This book was sold on Amazon and in select Barnes & Noble stores. It was reviewed in Ring Magazine and Boxing Digest. I went on to do my part writing about issues affecting LGBTQ+ people. I worked on political campaigns and attended city council meetings. I was a patron for gay artists. Heck, I even clerked in a gay bookstore. Fast forward to 202...

Imagine a traveling band that performs emo/punk covers in front of live audiences but for every individual song the lead singer is a fan from the crowd. This phenomena is called Emo Night Karaoke and it takes place all across America. My girlfriend introduced me to these shows and they are phenomenal. She has climbed up on stage several times in different states and wailed to the masses. The audience knows the words to every song and quite often they support the singer by following along. My Goth Goddess is the story of how she prepares for these shows. It mostly involves picking a song and practicing until it feels solid. The battle of nerves and anticipation ebbs and flows. The rest is all guts and glory. The video below is her performance at the House of Blues in Orlando, Florida. She is doing what I could never dream of, being a star on the stage. I'm so proud of her every time that I needed to express it in my lyrics. This song is for her but also for anyone who...

Some of my friends and family were quite surprised by the lyrics of "Who Stole My Vape?" and understandably so. The song starts with an impromptu orgy where a young man lost his vape in a strange apartment. It goes on to describe plates of cocaine with an assortment of unknown people, some of them lovers. Then it gets to the heart of the story - Nepo Babies. "Nepo baby" (short for nepotism baby) refers to children of successful or famous parents—particularly in Hollywood, modeling, or business—who have benefited from familial connections to start their own careers. - Google Gemini While living in Massachusetts my girlfriend and I stumbled into a very large group of Nepo babies. They were mostly friendly for Massholes but we knew there was something wrong. We noticed that they didn't have jobs most of the time yet they always had money. They were in massive debt but didn't seem worried about it. They all had frighteningly huge drug problems. We were invite...

When my brother told me he was Trans and was going to tackle the full change, I was a little surprised. He then shared the long process he had been through. The therapy, the difficult relationships, coming out to friends and family. All of this was in service of being able to live his true self as a woman. Years later with the process complete she felt so much better about her identity but she faced a whole slew of political and social challenges. This was very frustrating. At every turn people wanted her to defend all of these controversial stories in the media surrounding Trans people. She had never been a political activist so this was a foreign avenue and one that made her very unhappy. I wrote this song to remind people that being Trans is about the individual and their journey. All of the expectations that follow are outside influences often merely tolerated by those individuals. If they weren't being targeted so viciously their lives would likely go back to the basics of, ...

Over the years I was told that I would make a good song writer but for some reason the notion never jelled. I tried a few times to put something together but with no success. What changed? Artificial Intelligence. There are now dozens of software sites that will help you assemble the pieces to make a great song. I did a little research and chose Suno.com. You basically just have to write the lyrics, pick the style of music and then start producing. The controls range from simple to advanced and if you sign up for their Pro or Premiere plans then you own the rights to anything you create. The writing came easily this time. I'm not sure why. I had five subjects that I felt needed to be expressed and explored them all in depth. Over the course of only five days I wrote and published five songs. The styles range from indie and alternative rock to punk and alt metal. The subjects range from heartbreak and poverty to Trans issues and the Epstein files. I received overwhelmingly positive...
Everyone Was Wrong About Backyard Wrestling

It was the best of times but few people knew it. In 1999 I got deeply involved in a Backyard Wrestling federation that became known as the EBA. The Extreme Backyard Association performed bi-weekly matches at the home of Jason Sanders in Port Charlotte, Florida. As many as 27 wrestlers from ages 15 to 29 practiced Pro wrestling moves, designed their own costumes and put on full length shows for a live crowd and the video cameras. It was an amazing year except for the naysayers, authorities and critics. They came down on us like a hardcore jobber through a table. One newspaper reporter made fun of our "makeshift ring" while calling our performances a "mockery". A film producer out of Orlando said that we, "Deserved the Darwin prize for stupidity." My boss at the time said he thought our show was, "An Atrocity." I was promptly fired for my involvement. The criticism continued when I wrote a novel about our experiences titled Backyard Empire . Whil...

Henry David Thoreau said, "The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation." Most believe he was speaking broadly about mankind but I believe he was specifically talking about the people of Massachusetts. I recently met a young man who grew up on the island of Saint Kitts. He told me that he wished has was back home living on the island with his mother and grandfather. Friends, family and freedom, that's all he needed to be happy. Here, in America he felt less free. Here, it's all about money. In the states you obsess over having your payments caught up and your credit high. It's about making sure you have insurance just in case something goes wrong. It's about the scramble of keeping up with bills, taxes and paperwork. It's about climbing the ladder or impressing others with the amount of attention you can gather, by any means. I grew up in Massachusetts. My hometown was Avon but we moved all over the south shore. As a kid freedom meant hanging out with f...

I have never been one for nostalgia until recently. Whether it be old movies, 90's wrestling shows or past events in my own life, my mind has been enjoying a bit of rewind. Back in the twenty teens I got to be a part of a dedicated group of cyclists who had a dream to turn their nature reserve into a park full of flowing singletrack. In a few short years that vision had become a reality. The location was the T. Mabry Carlton Reserve in Venice, Florida. It all started with one trail and a name inspired by the TV show Star Trek. Boldly Go represented a leap into that vision, an audacious first step that would take visitors from the parking lot directly into the wild beyond. Since then it has been frequented by tens of thousands of cyclists. The terrain has been groomed for and by mountain bikers. More than a decade later that first trail is so well established that you can see it on Google maps . That group of cyclists became known as SCORR , a non-profit purpose driven gaggle of v...
