In UFO circles there is a theory called the Hitchhiker Effect. This is where a person has experienced something uniquely paranormal, often terrifying and the energy attaches itself to the person. The dark energy somehow follows them home. In the next few weeks strange things start happening around their house or to their family.  The effect can manifest as several different things like orbs of light floating through walls or silhouettes appearing and disappearing. The scariest is that of the hell hound, a black dog with red eyes randomly lurking in the distant darkness. One person even said it tried to attack them right in front of their house. This idea inspired me to write the song Hitchhiker Theory. To recreate one of these events I used the scariest music I could find with an unsettling voice to bring it to life.
