  When multiple whistleblowers and lawmakers stood on the Capitol steps demanding the declassification of UAP related files, it made me realize that we are coming to a pivot point in history. This very public call for disclosure had all the carrots to motivate politicians but it still lacked the sticks needed to force anything to happen. The only stick they have is public demand. This is where creatives can help. Movies, books and yes songs get people thinking about what is being kept from them. Public demand is often created through public awareness. When the press conference happened I was near the end of writing my first full-length album Persistent Existence but one thing was missing - a requiem. I knew what I had to do. I needed one song that summarized many of the events that happened since the start of the modern UFO era.
