Schwalbe Rapid Rob MTB Tire Review

Schwalbe has an excellent reputation for putting out stellar, high quality MTB tires. The up side has been their grip and superior compounds, the down side has been their prices, that is until now. The New Rapid Rob follows a long tradition of tires named with the alliterative double R, like Racing Ralph and Rocket Ron. Not a bad tradition to be a part of. The Friendliest Pool Tournament Around

I've never considered myself good at pool but I've always enjoyed playing and I love competition. When Middleboro's premiere entertainment venue Last Call at Hatchet in Hand added pool tables it was clear this place was going to boom. In addition to their Thursday night Axe Throwing League, they now had an entirely different group of players showing up to play 8 ball. Their weekly single day tournaments happen every Wednesday night at 7pm. It only costs $15. to enter, $10 of which goes into the pot for the top three winners. Anyone can join in. The rules are adapted from the Amateur Poolplayers Association and they are easy to learn. The other players are friendly and helpful. If you don't know how to compete, someone will guide you along. The crowd varies in size and skill level. I have been there on nights with as few as 6 players and more than 20. Build an Axe Throwing target from Home Depot

When I decided to get into Axe throwing I knew it would be imperative to have my own target for practice. Searching the web brought countless articles and conversations that preferred specialized wood specifically from a Lumber Mill. My car cannot carry much wood, however, I do have a Home Depot card. More importantly, Home Depot delivers. Cut to the chase, I ordered one piece of plywood 3/4 inch, 4' by 8' to be used as the base. For the contact area I ordered three pieces of Pine Common board 1 inch, 12" by 6'. The three common boards (Which are cheap to buy and replace) are attached with screws. Then I simply hand drew a bullseye and kill shots using 3 colored markers which cost $4. at Dollar General. The target has worked brilliantly thus far. Eight of the first ten axes stuck perfectly while the other two were thrown incorrectly. The total cost was about $170. but I used their ProXtra card and got $50. off the price.
